4 policemen suspended for assaulting a person

Davanagere, Dec 3: Four policemen were placed under suspension yesterday for brutally assaulting a person in Nymthi Police Station.

Police said that the police personnel suspended included a Head Constable who allegedly assaulted a person leading to serious injury few days ago. The injured was admitted to Manipal Hospital.

A departmental enqiury has been ordered.
