Fake Intelligence Officer cools heels in jail

Mysore, Dec 3: A person who, posing himself as Intelligence Officer, toured for five days with Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy during election campaign to the December Four Chamudeswari election, is cooling his heels behind the bars.

Police said today that Sulman Manoraj, a former employee of Vikrant Tyre Company, here joined the Chief Minister Security claiming as intelligence and toured with him for five days.

Suspecting his movements police arrested him last evening. It was revealed that Manoraj hails from Srirangapatna and married to a school teacher in Periyaptana in the district. It was also revealed that he was not staying with his wife since last six months. Further investigation was on.
