Centre to send high-level team to Jharkhand to probe blasts
New Delhi, Dec 3 (UNI) The Centre has decided to send a high-level team to Jharkhand tomorrow to investigate the landmine blast that left 13 CRPF personnel dead and three injured.
The team is being led by Mr Mitra IG (Anti-Naxal), Additional secretary (Anti-Naxal) and IG (Operations CRPF).
The Director General of Central Reserve Police Force has been directed to provide all possible assistance to the State Government in apprehending culprits responsible for the blast.
The landmines exploded yesterday when the personnel were carrying out random raids in the area.
Home Secretary V K Duggal spoke to DGP Jharkhand and offered all assistance from the centre to the DGP.
