Catholics observe protest fast

Puducherry, Dec 3(UNI) The Catholics of Puducherry today observed a day's protest fast infront of the Immaculate Heart of Marys Conception Cathedral here.

The fast was organised to condemn the violent incidents, which occured at Omallur in Tamil Nadu following the death of a student of the Fathima School there.

Principals and teachers of all Chiristian schools here took part in the fast led by Vicar General Fr Anthonisamy.
