Kolkata, Dec 3 (UNI) Joining the Opposition bandwagon, BJP President Rajnath Singh has decided to visit Singur, the site of the Tata Motor's proposed small car manufacturing unit, tomorrow.

Mr Singh, who is arriving here tonight, will be accompanied by BJP state president Sukumar Banerjee and his general secretary Rahul Sinha during the proposed visit. However, it is not yet known whether Mr Singh would be allowed to enter Singur by the state administration in view of the promulagation of prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC banning assembly of more than four people.

Mr Singh has decided to visit Singur after a state party delegation, led by Mr Sinha, visited Singur few days ago and submitted a detailed report. The party High Command, in its report, elaborated the ground realities and steps taken by the state government to acquire 997 acres of farmland at Singur.

A five-member state BJP delegation, led by former state president Tathagata Roy, would meet Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi here tomorrow and submit a memorandum opposing its opposition to state government's decision to set up industry forcefully on acquired farmland.

The BJP, which is an electoral ally of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC), had extended support to the AITC-sponsored last Friday's Bangla bandh and asked party supporters to make all-out effort for its success.
