Vasant Davkhare visits Khairlanji

Nagpur, Dec 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Vasant Davkhare today visited Khairlanji in Bhandara district of Vidarbha region of the state where four members of a dalit family were killed recently.

Mr Davkhare went to the hut where the slain family members lived and also met the villagers, according to an official release here.

He was accompanied by District Collector Indramalo Jain, In-Charge District Superintendent of Police Suresh Sagar and other officials.

Surekha Bhotmange 45, daughter Priyanka 18, and sons Roshan, 23 and Suresh 21 were killed by a mob in Khairlanji late on the night of September 30 over a land dispute.
