UCO Bank official inaugurates banking scheme

Puducherry,Dec 2(UNI) V K Upadhyay, General Manager, Small Enterprises, UCO Bank, Kolkata, today inaugurated under innovative banking scheme "small enterprises and retail sale force" at the bank branch here.

Distributing loans totalling Rs 4.07 crore to 24 applicants on the occasion, he said under the new loan scheme, the bank would provide 'Uco-Trader and Uco Small Scale Industries(SSI)' loans, besides meeting the housing and educational requirements of the locals.

Mr Upadhyay said two officials of the bank would meet the people, who are interested in availing the Home Loan. the purpose was to cater the banking facility to their door steps, he added.

He also referred to the highlights of the scheme which formed part of the growth-oriented banking facilities.
