Strike on Dec 14 against Pension Reform Bill

Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, Dec 2 (UNI) The Central and State Goverment employees will oveserve a strike on December 14 to urge the Centre to desist from moving the Pension Reform Bill in the current session of Parliament, Tamil Nadu Government Employees Association general secretary Muthu Sundaram said today.

Talking to reporters here, he alleged that the Centre was planning to move the Bill at the behest of the World Bank and the IMF.

He also urged the state government to fill up the 1.27 lakh vaccancies in various goverment departments.
