Silver, gold continue to rise on bullish global advices

Mumbai, Dec 2 (UNI) Silver today rose by Rs 105 per kg and Gold marginally by Rs five per ten gm on reduced stocks supply and bullish global advices at the Bombay Bullion Exchange.

Silver fineness opened high at Rs 20,635 per kg on better buying support. Later, it eased a little and closed at Rs 20.615 per kg, with a gain of Rs 105 from its yesterday's close.

There was reduced stocks supply from jewellers in view of encouraging advice from the overseas market.

In London, the white metal was quoted high at USD 14.00/14.05 per troy ounce against USD 13.93/13.96 per troy ounce in New York.

Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened slightly high at Rs 9,355 and Rs 9,405 per ten gms respectively on improved demand.

Standard gold closed a little low at Rs 9,350 at its yesterday's closing level on moderate demand, while pure gold closed at 9,400 with a gain of Rs five from its last close.

In London, the yellow metal rose at USD 643.80/646.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 640.20/645.20 per troy ounce at New York on Friday.
