Shan-e-Punjab passengers suffer delay

Phagwara, Dec 2 (UNI) Up-line rail traffic on Jalandhar-Amritsar rail section today remained disrupted for one-and-a-half hour, stranding Amritsar-bound 2497 UP Delhi-Amritsar Shan-e-Punjab due to electric maintenance works on the track between Amritsar and Mannawali railway stations today.

The passengers of Shan-e-Punjab had to face delay due to this, railway sources said.

Shan-e-Punjab, which was already 20 minutes behind schedule, reached Amritsar about two hours late and as a consequence, Delhi-bound 2498 Down Shan-e-Punjab proceeded for its destination two hours behind the schedule this evening, the railway Sources added.
