RIL restarts fire-hit hydrotreater plant at Jamnagar

Mumbai, Dec 2: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) today announced that the hydrotreater plant at its refinery in Jamnagar, partially damaged in the October 25 fire, has been refurbished and has started functioning.

A RIL statement said ''The VGO Hydrotreater No 2 plant started functioning normally from this morning. While the fire at the plant was brought under control within an hour, the damaged portion has been refurbished in 35 days.'' The refinery has been working without any loss of production after the incident, it added.
