Renowned journalist Inbisat Alvi passes away

New Delhi, Dec 2 (UNI) Renowned journalist Inbisat Alvi, who has been associated with the New York Times and The London Times, died here early today following a massive heart attack.

Alvi complained of chest pain last evening and was rushed to the Escorts hospital.

He was 56. Alvi is survived by his wife and son.

He was presently the Executive Editor of a leading Urdu daily ''Hindustan Express''.

He worked as Producer of the New York-based "Third World Radio" for several years but later shifted here to join Rashtriya Sahara.
