PSG place advertisement to say no to violence
PARIS, Dec 2 (Reuters) Paris St Germain placed a full-page advertisement in the French daily Le Figaro today to say no to racism and violence.
The club has been entangled in a nationwide debate on how to rid soccer of violence following the death of a fan after a UEFA Cup match last week.
PSG's league game against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes stadium tomorrow has been postponed on security grounds.
Today, the club bought a whole page in Le Figaro with an advertisement showing the word ''No'' written three times in white capital letters on a blue background, matching the colour of the team's shirt.
The text reads: ''No to racism, to discrimination; No to anti-semitism, to violence; No, you don't go to the stadium to die.'' REUTERS PDS RK2051
