Prohibitory orders in MP township
Bhopal, Dec 2 (UNI) Prohibitory orders, under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, were clamped today on Rajgarh district's Narsinghgarh township after the police lobbed tear gas shells and exercised mild force against a roughly 1,500-strong mob that torched a shop and godown belonging to a person accused of murder.
''The situation is completely under control now. On November 29, a businessman named Kallu was killed over a financial transaction.
The accused Chandu has been arrested,'' Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Mishra told UNI over the telephone.
This morning, Narsinghgarh's denizens staged a demonstration at Chhatri Chowk and then targeted Chandu's godown and shop.
