Pranab to visit Bhutan to invite the king in SAARC summit

Kolkata, Dec 2 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said he will visit Bhutan to invite the King for SAARC summit in April, 2007.

Speaking on the sidelines of a seminar organised by Consular Corps and WBIDC, the Minister said,''India will host the next SAARC summit. It is a dictum to invite the King of Bhutan.'' Speaking at the seminar, he said, ''Apart from SAARC, we will also host second BIMSTEC conference on February 8, 2007 in which all the regional countries, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka would participate.
