No decision on Presidential candidate yet: Congress

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) The Congress today said it was noting the developments with regard to the election of President due next year and would announce its decision at ''an appropriate time.'' ''The Congress has taken no decision so far, but when the appropriate time comes, an appropriate decision will be taken,'' Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said, replying to a query at a press conference in the Parliament precincts.

Referring to desecration of Babasahab Ambedkar's statue and the protest demonstrations, he said it was ''vandalism'' and appealed that the issue be not ''trivialised.''
