MP score 309, Kerala 123-2

Palakkad, Dec 2 (UNI) A fine unbeaten century by Devendra Bundela (106) enabled Madhya Pradesh to score a respectable 307 all out in their first innings in the Ranji trophy match against Kerala here today.

In reply, Kerala were 123 for two at stumps. Devandra's impressive 106 was studded with 14 hits to the fence. For Kerala S Suresh took four wickets for 49, Sreekumaran Nair three for 67 and Prasanth Chandran two for 56.

Former India opener, S Ramesh led Kerala's pursuit of the first innings lead and was at the wicket with a fine 71 with the help of nine fours. Yogesh Golwalkar and Abbas Ali took one wicket each for the visitors.
