MCD puts 91 units to seal

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today put to seal 91 units in Shahdara (South), South and Rohini zones.

Of the units sealed today by the MCD, 46 units were at Kotla Road from Pandav Nagar Police Station to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital falling in Shahdara (South) Zone.

Encroachment removal action was also initiated at Kotla Village, where 60 junk shops were removed and two acres of public land was freed from encroachment.

About 24 units were sealed in South Zone while 21 units were sealed at Bhagwan Mahavir Marg&Maharishi Dayanand Marg in Shalimar Bagh falling in Rohini Zone.

With today's sealing, the total number of properties sealed since the sealing drive resumed on November 8 on the orders of the Supreme Court, is 2361.
