Maoists blast landmines in Bengal
Purulia, Dec 2 (UNI) Suspected naxalites today blasted six landmines at Durasiri under volatile Bandowan police station area in the district of West Bengal.
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Prasad here said the blasts were aimed at creating a fear-psychosis among the local people and the administration.
He said a posse of police force had rushed to the area.
Massive combing operation was on to nab the maoists.
No casualty had so far been reported.
