Husband, in-laws arrested for driving woman to suicide

New Delhi, Dec 2 (UNI) Police today arrested three persons, including a woman, in connection with the death of a twenty-five-year-old woman in East Delhi under mysterious circumstances.

Thirty- year-old Praveen along with his mother Maharani and brother Vikas, were arrested from their Ramnagar residence in Shahdara for allegedly driving Praveen's wife Gita to suicide.

Gita was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her house early today, police said.

The parents of Gita complained to the police that her husband and in-laws often tortured her for dowry since their marriage nine years ago.

Praveen and Gita had two children from their marriage.
