Governor for strict regulation of academic session

Gaya, Dec 2 (UNI) Bihar Governor R S Gavai today called upon the Vice -Chancellors of different univestities of the state to regulate the academic session to improve the education standard.

Addressing a function here, Mr Gavai criticised those teachers, involved in private tuition, saying it had affected teaching in the colleges and universities.

He said education standard had deteriorated during the past few days and support from all corners were required to put it back on the right track.

Minister of State for Science and Technology Anil Kumar said the state government was committed to improving the teaching standard in colleges and universities.

Several steps had been taken during the past one year to check the trend of migration of students from Bihar to other parts of the country in quest of better education, he added UNI XC RS SJC /src1838
