DPI block road condemning desecration of Ambedkar statue

Puducherry, Dec 2 (UNI) Nearly 40 volunteers of the Dalit Panthers of India (DPI) were arrested when they resorted to a road blockade at Villianur near here today.

The stir was to protest the defacing of Ambedkar statue at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
