Court fixes Monday for kiss 'controversy' debate

Jodhpur, Dec 2 (UNI) A court here will hear the complaint filed against Rahjasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Biocon CEO Kiran Majumdar Shaw on the 'smooch controversy'.

Advocate Sikandar Khan had lodged the complaint yesterday under Section 200 of CrPC in the court of Judicial Magistrate (No.3) Hariballabh Khatri. Yesterday the statements of advocate Khan and Mohammad Akbar were recorded.

Today the statements of defence advocates Neelam Goyal and Neelam Soni were recorded. The debate could not be held today and the judge fixed it for Monday.

A major controversy erupted after a newspaper published a photograph of Chief Minister Raje kissing Kiram Majumadar during India Economic Summit in New Delhi this week.
