Brothers killed after blueline hits scooter

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Two brothers were killed near Liberty theatre in Central Delhi when a speeding Blueline bus hit the two-wheeler they were riding on this afternoon.

Ramesh Chand (47) and Dinesh Chand (40) were on their way way home from their shop in Paharganj when the bus, plying on route no 166 (Palika Kendra to Shalimar Bagh), hit their scooter at about 1415 hrs near Liberty theatre sources said.

Both the brothers, who owned a steel almirah making unit in Paharganj, died on the spot.

The driver of the bus, Virendra, has been arrested and the bus impounded.
