BJP state units asked to commemorate Guruji Centenary

New Delhi, Dec 2 (UNI) The BJP Central leadership has asked the state units and incharges to organise seminars on cultural nationalism in the state capitals and district level meetings to commemorate birth centenary of Guruji Golwalkar.

BJP General Secretary Om Prakash Mathur, in his communication to state Presidents, State General Secretaries and state incharges, said the party did not speed up the programme because of organisational elections and other allied programmes. The programme will be organised after the National Council meeting at Lucknow on December 23 and 24.

The states, he said, should come out with properly drawn outlines of the programmes to be organised in their respective states to the National Council so that the party could fix speakers from the central pool, Mr Mathur said.
