Asom bowled out for 362 against Railways

Guwahati, Dec 2 (UNI) Hosts Asom were bowled out for 362 just before the end of second day's play in the Ranji trophy match against former champions Railways.

Resuming on overnight score of 162 for 3, Asom went on to reach the respectable total of 362 riding on Arun Kumar's century.

Night watchman Arun Kumar, who began on 86 today, went on to score 138 runs. His innings lasted 488 minutes in which he faced 375 balls and hit 25 fours.

He was ably supported by Nishant Bordoloi, who was out on an individual score of 73, after having made 22 yesterday.

For Railways, Murali Kartik captured five wickets giving 46 runs, while Sanjay Bangar ended with three scalps for 65 runs.

At stumps on the second day, Railways had made six runs without any loss.
