A three day Partayan Utsav wll be held at Neermahal

Agartala, Dec 02 (UNI) To promote tourism, a three day long 'Neermahal Partayan Utsav' will be held at Melaghar under Sonamura Sub-division from December 27 as the window to Tripura.

Various cultural programmes would be showcased at the Neermahal palace, a historical heritage, constructed by the then Maharaja of the state.

Renowned artists from and outside the state would participate in the festival, sources said.

State Information, Cultural and Tourism Minister Anil Sarkar said there are chances of development in the tourism sector if South -East Asia door opens.
