30 jawans injured in blast
Jammu, Dec 2 (UNI) At least 30 Army jawans were injured in blast inside the Command Battle School at Chingus in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources said here today.
The blast occurred when the jawans were handling explosives in the school last evening, highly placed sources told UNI.
Over 30 jawans, who received splinter injuries in the incident, were immediately shifted to the hospital, the sources said.
''None of them was critically injured,''the sources said, and added that an inquiry into the incident had been ordered by the Army.
However, Army spokesman Col D K Badola said, ''As per the initial reports, 12 jawans were injured in the incident.'' UNI VJ SSC VV1441
