17 securitymen feared killed in landmines explosion in J'khand
Bokaro, Dec 2 (UNI) At least 17 securitymen were feared killed when Maoist rebels triggered landmines at a place 5 km from Bokaro Thermal police station in the naxalite dominated district of Jharkhand today.
However, police confirmed 13 deaths but unoffcial reports put the figure at 17.
Police said Special Task Force personnel were carying out random raids in the area when landmines exploded killing many of them on the spot.
Senior police officials rushed to spot to take stock of the situation.
Massive manhunt was on to nab the culprits.
