1 NSCN (K) cadre killed in factional clashes

Kohima, Dec 2: An NSCN(K) cadre was killed during the inter-factional clashes with the rival NSCN in two places of Nagaland.

Official sources said an inter-factional clash erupted in Zungti village under Zunheboto district yesterday when the both the factions of NSCN exchanged gun firing.

The NSCN-IM sources claimed that they have recovered one M-21 rifle from the slain cadre.

Meanwhile, a group of NSCN (K) cadres attacked their rival camp at a place between Athibung and Inbung under Peren district yesterday.

Later, both the factions retreated to again resume their battle inside the jungle.

Police have started an operation to nab the militants.
