Two officers arrested for taking bribe

Patna, Dec1 (UNI) Bihar Vigilance Bureau today arrested a circle officer and a forest ranger when they were receiving bribe in Gaya district today.

Official sources said here that circle officer of Imamganj block Ramlakhan Paswan was arrested when he was accepting Rs 1000 as bribe from a person for mutation of land.

Forest ranger Ravindra Kumar was caught red handed when he was receiving Rs 2000 from the truck drivers at Bankebajar out post in the district.

Both were being brought to Patna for further interrogation.
