TVS November sales up 4 per cent

New Delhi, Dec 1: TVS Motor Company today registered a four per cent growth in its sales during November 2006 at 1,18,157 units as compared to 1,13,261 units in the same period last year.

The company's motorcycles recorded a 1.1 per cent increase in sales at 68,874 units compared to 68,122 units last year.

The TVS Scooty variant in the sub-100 cc scooter segment recorded sales of 21,791 units in November 2006 compared to 21,057 units in the same period last year.

TVS exported 7,500 units in the month, up by 23 per cent compared to the same period a year ago.
