Top priority to be given for public grievances: Anand
Vijayawada, Dec 1 (UNI) Newly appointed city Police Commissioner C V Anand today said top priority would be given to clear the public grievances.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Anand said the police department should work to meet public expectations and gain their confidence. There would be no compromise to implement law and order in the city. He would give preference to surpise checks on police stations. Traffic awareness programmes would be conducted from school level and people educated on traffic rules.
He warned of stern action against private settlements.
