Sugar rises in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Dec 1 (UNI) The prices of M-30 and S-30 grades of sugar today rose by Rs 35 each to Rs 1,630/1,640 and Rs 1,620/1,630 per quintal respectively.

The rates in the Kolhapur gur market ranged between Rs 1,300 and Rs 2,500 per quintal.

There was no trading in the Sangli turmeric futures market, while turmeric spot rate remained unchanged at Rs 2,300 per quintal.
