Six hardcore militants nabbed

Imphal, Dec 1 (UNI) At least six militants were nabbed in separate incidents during an operation launched by Manipur police.

The Imphal East Superintendent of police said three cadres of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and three Kuki Liberation Army (KLA) cadres were arrested overnight.

A 0.38 pistol was recovered from a UNLF cadre, police said.

Meanwhile, a grenade found near the residence of Commissioner (Education) S Budhachandra here was defused last night, police added.
