RIL Jamnagar Hydro Treator starts operation again
New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) today said the Hydro Treator at its Jamnagar refinery, which had caught fire in October end, has gone into full production mode again after repairs.
The unit (VGO Hydrotreater No 2) which removes sulphur from oil products, was shut down on October 25 after the fire.
''The refinery has been working normally through out the period without any loss of production,'' an RIL spokesmen told UNI here.
The damaged portion of this plant has been refurbished now within a record time of 35 days, he added.
The refinery is the largest in the world with 30 per cent of its output sold within the country and the rest exported.
