Railways reschedules train timings

Ludhiana, Dec 1 (UNI) The time table of several long distance trains has been rescheduled from today affecting a change of time varying from a few minutes upto two-and-a-half hours.

A Railway Spokesman here said that 2919 Indore Jammu Malwa Express would now arrive at Ludhiana from Indore at 1030 Hrs instead of 1300 Hrs, 5209 Saharasa Amritsar Janseva Express would arrive from Saharasa at 1420 Hrs instead of 1635 Hrs.

Likewise, 2715 Nanded Amritsar Sachchkhand Express from Nanded Sahib would arrive at 1750Hrs instead of 1955Hrs everyday while 2925 Paschim Express would arrive at 1625 Hrs instead of 1705 Hrs.

5211 Darbanga Amritsar Jan Nayak Express from Darbanga would arrive at 2255 Hrs instead of 0040Hrs.

Besides this, timings of about a dozen other long distance trains on Delhi-Jammu and Delhi-Amritsar rail routes have been changed from 5 to 25 minutes with effect from today, the spokesman said.
