Outsiders might have had hand in violence:Raj Thackeray
Mumbai, Dec 1 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray today alleged that outsiders could have had a hand in the large-scale violence that erupted in parts of Maharashtra during the last two days.
Talking to reporters at his party office, Mr Thackeray said since Dr B R Ambedkar is widely respected, the reaction to the desecration of his statue was natural.
He felt that there could be an attempt to damage the image of Deputy chief minister R R Patil so that he could resign.
However, he said there wass no need for Mr Patil to resign.
