One killed in HLL factory fire

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) One person was killed and eight others, including five women, sustained injuries in a fire in a deodorant factory of the Hindustan Lever Limited in North West Delhi's Alipur area today.

Fire department officials said the blaze, which started at about 1725 hours in the factory, was caused by a spark in an electronic unit.

Police said the victim was a factory worker and his identity was not ascertained yet. The injured were immediately rushed to a hospital.

The blazed was controlled by about 1830 hrs by six fire tenders.
