New time table of railway to be effective from today

Patna, Dec 1 (UNI) New time table of Indian Railway would be effective from today in which several long distance trains had been rescheduled.

A statement of East Central Railway said besides, several trains would be given the status of super fast.

The statement said several long route trains resuming their journey from Danapur Railway division or terminating in this division, had been rescheduled.

Following demands from passengers, directive had been issued for stoppage of Danapur-Howrah Express at Bansipur under Danapur division of East Central Railway from today. Gaya-Howrah Express would make its stoppage at Keul station from December 3.

With the new time table becoming effective from today, journey time of several long distance trains would decrease by two hours bringing relief to passengers, it said.
