New Merc E-Class now in TN capital

Chennai, Dec 1 (UNI) DaimlerChrysler India announced the launch of its new generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the city.

The cars are available in Obsidian black, Calcite white, Iridium silver, Cubanite silver and Tealite blue colours, according to a release from Trans Car.

The new generation E-Class is offered in the E280 (petrol) and E280CDI (diesel) as well as the E 200 KOMPRESSOR models with modified engine management system.

The E280 petrol version is priced at Rs 45.18 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai), while the E280 CDI (diesel) is offered at Rs 43.83 lakh (ex-showroom Chennai). The cars are available at the Trans Car showroom here.

Trans Car Managing Director K S M Musaddique said "till date, we have sold over 750 vehicles and catered to a customer base of more than 1,800.
