MRPL to set up 30 retail outlets by 2007-08

Mangalore, Dec 1 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is going to set up 30 retail fuel outlets by 2007-08 for an undisclosed amount in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Tamil Nadu.

The company is in the process of acquiring land for the purpose, MRPL Managing Director R Rajamani told reporters here.

MRPL is also going to set up aromatic project at Mangalore SEZ at an investment of Rs 4,852 crore for the production of Paraxilene from naptha with an initial capacity of nine lakh tonnes per annum.
