Media not to show or publish court documents in Katara murder case
New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) A court today restrained the electronic and the print media from showing or publishing any document exhibited or unexhibited in the court proceedings relating to the Nitish Katara murder case.
The court further said that the distorted version of the case presented before the public was likely to create a wrong impression in general which may prejudice the interest of the prosecution or of the accused.
After examining Nitin Katara, younger brother of Nitish Katara, prosecution moved an application under section 311 of CrPc to recall inspector Anil Somania for further examination.
After hearing the application, the court issued notice to the counsel for the accused Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav for January 3, 2007 and order to come up for remaining prosecution evidence if any for January 12, 2007.
