Maruti registers 16.1 pc growth in Nov sales

Mumbai, Dec 1 (UNI) Maruti Udyog today said it has sold 55,033 vehicles in November, a 16.1 percent rise from a year earlier.

Informing the BSE, Maruti said domestic sales during the month under review rose an annual 20.7 percent to 52,574, while exports declined by 35.7 percent to 2,459 units.

The company's domestic volume in A2 segment consisting of Alto, Wagon-R, Zen and Swift grew by 32.3 per cent and in C segment - Omni and Versa - went up by 36.2 per cent during the month compared to sales in November 2005.
