Kashmiri drug peddler arrested in Central Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Police today claimed to have arrested a Kashmiri drug peddler who used to supply contraband to foreign tourists only and recovered 50 gms of charas from him.

Police said 26-year-old Ghulam Ahmed Khan alias Omlet, hailing from Srinagar, was arrested from Pahar Ganj area on November 27.

He used to run a handicraft shop in Lajpat Nagar and operate from their, police said.

During interrogation, Khan revealed that he used to purchase the drugs from Sriniwaspuri here.

Further investigations are in progress.
