Henkel acquires Taiwan-based Accurus Scientific Co Ltd

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Chennai-based Henkel today announced that it has acquired Taiwan-based Accurus Scientific Co Ltd, a leading manufacturer of solder spheres.

''The addition of Accurus to our portfolio brings Henkel's product offerings full circle enabling us to provide complete materials solutions, which now includes advanced solder sphere technology for next-generation CSP and BGA devices and specialty solder powder for fine-pitch applications,'' said Henkel Technologies Executive Vice President Jochen Krautter.

Henkel is the provider of qualified, compatible material sets for semiconductor packaging, board level assembly and advanced soldering solutions.

Henkel operates in three strategic business areas -- Home Care, Personal care and Adhesives, Sealants and Surface Treatments -- which serves the transportation, electronics, aerospace, metal, durable goods, consumer goods, maintenance and repair and packaging industries and offers a broad range of products for the craftsman and consumer.
