Graduation parade held at IAF Technical College

Bangalore, Dec 1 (UNI) A total of 49 officers, including four women, today graduated into the mainstream of IAF at a graduation parade of the 67th Aeronautical Engineering course, held at Air Force Technical College in the city.

Besides, eleven officers from the Air Force of friendly foreign countries like Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Ghana and Myanmar also completed their one-year training, an official release here said.

Air Marshal Yeshwant Rao Rane, Air Officer-in-Charge Personnel, New Delhi, after reviewing the passing out parade, urged the young officers to be prepared to face new challenges like exploiting the medium of space, handling smart weapons, exploring CAD decision making and other ground breaking areas.

President's Plaque for Best All Round Officer was bagged by Flying Officer S Krishnadas, while Flying Officer R Guruprasad won the Vice-President's Sword of Honour.
