GJEPC forms new regional committee

Surat, Dec 1 (UNI) Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has formed a regional committee for its promotion and development, a communique issued by GJEPC said.

The seven-member committee has elected Chandrakant Sanghvi as its new chairman.

Other committee members are Jivraj Surani, Govind Dholakia, Chunibhai Gajera, Siddharth Mehta, Shanti Patel and Pravin Nanavati.

GJEPC sources said that the committee will sort out major problems of the industry and will undertake activities to promote the industry at global level.

The committee will be in office for the next two years.
