Gang of interstate robbers busted

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Police have busted a gang of interstate robbers with the arrest of five people from West Delhi and worked out seven cases.

Sumer Singh, (22), Raj Kumar, (23), Subhash, (22), Vikram, (22) and Dharmender Yadav (20) were arrested yesterday after an encounter with the sleuths of the crime branch in Paschim Vihar.

Police recovered a country- made pistol, two live cartridges and one stolen motorcycle.

During interrogation, they revealed that they were involved in several cases of robbery in Delhi and Haryana.

Further investigations are in progress.
