Former head constable arrested

Chennai, Dec 01 (UNI) Police today arrested a former police head constable who created nuisance in an inebriated condition in the office complex of the Director General of Police today.

Police said, Selvam, head constable of Esplanade police station, was removed from service due to some allegations sometime ago.

He shouted slogans against police authorities and engaged in a quarrel with officials of the DGP office complex.

Further investigations were on.
